About this tool
This scientific calculator handles everything beyond basic arithmetic: trigonometric and inverse functions, natural and base-10 logarithms, powers and roots, factorials, and constants like pi and e. You can switch between degrees and radians and chain operations with parentheses, just like a handheld scientific calculator. It runs entirely in your browser, with nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work in degrees or radians?
Both. A toggle switches the trigonometric functions between degrees and radians, and the current mode is shown on screen so sin, cos and tan always use the angle unit you expect. Check that indicator before a calculation when angles matter.
How do I calculate powers, roots and logarithms?
Use the power key to raise a number to any exponent, the root or fractional-power keys for square and nth roots, ln for natural logarithms and log for base 10. Parentheses let you group terms, and the calculator follows the standard order of operations.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Every calculation is evaluated in your browser, so the numbers and expressions you enter are never sent to or stored on a server.
