Should my week start on Monday or Sunday?
It is purely a convention, so pick whichever matches how you already think in weeks. Most of Europe β and the ISO 8601 standard β treat Monday as the first day, which keeps Saturday and Sunday together at the end and suits work-week planning. Calendars in the United States, Canada and Japan traditionally start on Sunday. This generator supports both, and the weekend shading adjusts automatically to whichever layout you choose.
Why are the month and weekday names in English?
The text drawn inside the PDF β the month name and weekday headers β currently uses a built-in font that supports Latin characters only, so the calendar itself is produced in English even when you browse the site in Japanese, Spanish, Chinese or Korean. The page interface is fully localized; only the downloaded file is affected. An English calendar still works well as a date grid, since the day numbers are universal.
Is anything uploaded, and how should I print it?
Nothing is uploaded β the calendar is assembled locally in your browser with pdf-lib, so it even works offline once the page has loaded, and no account is needed. When printing, set the scale to 100% or "Actual size" and disable "Fit to page", so the grid keeps its exact millimetre dimensions and the day cells and notes area stay the size designed.
